SPITFIRE MK.II 1964-67
With the success of the Spitfire4 with sales of over 45,000 in two years, the uprated Mk.II model was just as successful. Slightly more powerful and only £20 dearer than the Spitfire4, the car had a much better equipped interior. The seats were upgraded with a new design of seat cover as well as the introduction of a seat base foam rather than the earlier spring type. A complete moulded carpet set was introduced as well as leathercloth coverings to various painted surfaces. The door panel design was also altered with the addition of a kick carpet on the leading edge of the panel.
